Delete your account

You can permanently delete your DomiSol account and everything in it at any time. Here's exactly how, and what happens when you do.

How to request deletion

There are two ways to delete your DomiSol account. Both remove the same data, described below.

Option 1 — Email us

Send an email from the address you signed up with to hello@domisol.app with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request and permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days. This is the recommended route for DomiSol mobile app users.

Option 2 — Delete it yourself in the web editor

If you'd rather do it immediately and without waiting:

  1. Open the DomiSol editor at dash.domisol.app and sign in with the same account you use on mobile.
  2. Open the account menu (your avatar, top-right).
  3. Choose Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm. Your account and data are erased immediately, and this cannot be undone.

If you signed in more than ten minutes ago, we ask you to sign in again before the account is deleted. It is a safety check, because deleting cannot be undone.

If you have a subscription, cancel it first

An account with a subscription that is still set to renew cannot be deleted. Deleting an account does not stop a subscription, so we ask you to cancel it first. That way you are never charged for an account that no longer exists. This applies to both options above.

  • Subscribed on the web: cancel from the billing page linked in your receipt email, or write to hello@domisol.app and we will help.
  • Subscribed in the mobile app: cancel in your App Store or Google Play account, under Subscriptions. Only the store can cancel a subscription that it bills.

Once it is cancelled you can delete your account. You do not have to wait for the paid period to end, but deleting gives up whatever is left of it. A subscription cancelled on the web is seen at once. One cancelled in the App Store or Google Play can take up to two hours to reach us, so if you are refused right after cancelling, try again later. A payment that failed, or a refund, does not count as cancelling: the store may still charge, so cancel the subscription itself. That is still true after the subscription has stopped working. The App Store and Google Play go on trying a failed payment for up to 60 days, and a paused Google Play subscription starts again by itself, so an account whose app subscription stopped that way cannot be deleted until the subscription is cancelled in the store. If you do nothing, it can be deleted 61 days after the subscription stopped (153 days after a pause began), and the refusal tells you the date. If you cancelled more than a day ago and are still refused, or the subscription is no longer listed in your store account, write to support@domisol.app. Plans bought once (Personal and Lifetime) and credit packs do not renew, so they never hold up deletion.

When an account is deleted we keep a record that an account with that internal id was deleted, and when. It holds no name, no email address and no plan. It is there so that a payment event arriving later cannot create the account again.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes, with no additional retention period:

  • Your account and sign-in credentials (email / Google identity).
  • Your profile (display name and avatar).
  • Every score you've created, including private and shared scores.
  • Any files you uploaded for AI features (score photos, audio recordings). These are already deleted right after processing; the account deletion removes anything remaining.
  • Your usage records and app-activity history.

What is kept, and for how long

We do not keep a copy of your scores or profile after deletion. A few narrow exceptions may be retained only where we're required to or for abuse-prevention, and never linked to your identity for product use:

  • Feedback or support messages you chose to send us (so we can track recurring requests). Ask us to remove these too and we will.
  • Records of payments, and of any plan or credits we added by hand. We keep them for our accounts and to settle a refund or a dispute. They hold your account's internal id, and not your email address.
  • A do-not-mail entry for your email address, if it was on the newsletter list, had bounced, or was reported as spam. It is there so that we never write to that address again.
  • Minimal server logs and backups, which roll off automatically within 30 days.

Export first, if you want a copy

Deletion is permanent. If you want to keep your work, export it before deleting: every score can be saved as a PDF from the editor, and the full JSON form of your scores is available on request at hello@domisol.app.
